Site work and paving for a road / highway in Avon, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work consists of cleaning roads to receive treatment, applying preservative seal, applying sand to the treated surface, sweeping and removal of the sand, and all other work necessary for roadway restoration as included in the construction schedule and specifications for the project. Proposals must be made on the provided forms, accompanied by a cashier's or certified check or acceptable bidder's bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid. The Bidder must supply all required information on the bid proposal form. Liquidated damages for delay, work hours, and partial payment provisions are specified in the contract documents and technical specifications. Contractors and subcontractors must comply with all required federal and state labor regulations including Equal Employment Opportunity, E-Verify, Non-segregated Facilities, and Affirmative Action requirements. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals or parts thereof, and bids may be held for up to 60 days for review and investigation of qualifications prior to awarding the contract.
