Site work for a water / sewer project in Macon, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of the relocation of a sewer main near Bowzer Road, involving the installation of approximately 560 feet of 12" SDR-26 PVC pipe and one new 48" manhole. Work will require temporary pumping, surface restoration, and other appurtenances. Bids are to be submitted for a single prime contract on a unit price basis. Bidders must obtain their bid documents from Howe Company, LLC or www.howecompany.com and be listed on the plan holders list to be eligible to bid. Printed copies of bidding documents can be obtained upon payment of a non-refundable fee, with additional shipping fees applicable. Bidding documents can also be accessed in PDF form from the specified website. Neither the owner nor the engineer will be responsible for documents obtained from other sources. Bid security shall be provided as per the instructions to bidders. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
