This project is for construction of a new Building Expansion for Tarrant County Precinct 2 Maintenance Center, located at 1050 Mansfield Cardinal Rd, Kennedale, TX 76060. Scope of work includes Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Security as detailed and specified on project documents. Contractor shall attend to fire protection requirements, dedicated design and submission to authorities for approval. The project consists of the following: renovation of approximately 2,140 square feet of existing administrative areas, expansion of director's office, conversion of training room to conference room, conversion of conference room to work/copy space, and addition of a new fire riser within existing classroom; addition of approximately 1,560 square feet of five offices including new storage, copy, and mechanical spaces. Alternates include modifications to existing structural framing, service bay expansion to the vehicle maintenance building with two service bays and related infrastructure, renovations to existing toilet and locker rooms, and a 370 square foot addition of lube storage. On-site work hours are Monday through Thursday 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Contractor access to the construction site via the back gate is granted for approved weekend work activities. Access to the main facility during weekends is prohibited unless accompanied by a designated County escort.
