Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Maywood, Illinois. Completed plans call civil work for a road / highway, sidewalk / parking lot and water / sewer project.
This project consists of green alley improvements within the Village of Maywood. The work to be performed will include the removal and replacement of curb and gutter, sidewalks, and garage aprons; excavation of the existing pavement; installation of an aggregate stormwater storage section; installation of concrete alley pavement; landscaping restoration of disturbed sections of the parkways, and other related work. This project will consist of improvements to the following two (2) alleys: Alleys Alley 313: E-W alley from 20th Avenue to 19th Avenue between Randolph Street and Washington Boulevard. N-S alley from Randolph Street to the E-W alley between 20th Avenue and 19th Avenue. Alley 321: E-W alley from 20th Avenue to 19th Avenue between Washington Boulevard and Warren Street. The work to be performed will include the removal and replacement of curb and gutter, sidewalks, and driveway aprons; excavation of the existing pavement; installation of an aggregate base course for stormwater storage; installation of concrete alley pavement; installation of proposed sewer pipe; adjustment of drainage structures; restoration of disturbed sections of the parkways and alley right of ways, and other related work. 3% of the total amount of reimbursement provided by the MWRDGC for the Project for VeteranOwned Business Enterprises (VBE)
