Sealed bids are invited for the 2026 Sidewalk Improvements project. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, or a bond for the full amount of the bid as a guarantee that if accepted, a contract will be entered into and a performance bond properly secured. Cash deposits are not accepted. Specifications and bid forms are available online. Bidders are required to ensure nondiscrimination in employment, comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, and use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor where practicable. A list of available equipment must be submitted, and prevailing wage rates for Lorain County, Ohio, must be paid. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
