Sealed proposals must be delivered to the Purchasing Division, 701 E. Broadway, 5th Floor, Columbia, MO 65201 by the closing date and time. Proposals received after the appointed time will be time stamped and marked as late. Late proposals will not be opened and will not be considered in the evaluation. Proposals must be in a sealed envelope and marked in bold letters “RFP 67/2026." No fax or e-mail proposals shall be accepted. The project includes, but is not limited to: o Procurement and installation of contractor provided playground equipment appropriate for the specified age range o Construction of a concrete base for pour in place safety surfacingo Installation of pour-in-place (PIP) safety surfacing The proposed playground area is approximately forty (40) feet by forty-six (46) feet, totaling approximately one thousand eight hundred forty (1,840 +-) square feet. Proposed playground and PIP surfacing for Rothwell Park shall not exceed the City of Columbia budget of one hundred and seventy thousand dollars ($170,000.00). Projects contracted for materials and installation shall be considered "turnkey project". The City shall pay for and assume ownership for playground equipment when project is complete.
