Trimble County Fiscal Court requests proposals for the design and construction of an interactive water splash pad feature for Trimble County Park, delivered as a lump sum design-build contract with a base bid not to exceed $500,000. The splash pad is to be 98 feet x 52 feet, excluding the sidewalks (which will be provided by the owner after project completion). The design-build team is responsible for verifying site conditions, geotechnical investigation, all state and local permits, all electrical connections, and coordination with the owner for restroom facility and equipment housing. The system must use a pass-through spray equipment system, with an alternate price for a recirculating system, and must meet a flow rate of 200 gallons per minute or less. Features should fit the pad size and have a cohesive design theme, with technical features for remote alerts to maintenance staff. Proposal requirements include lump sum pricing, design narrative, renderings and conceptual design, detailed schedule, proof of insurance, comparable project references, required bonds, warranty information, and documentation of self-performed work (minimum 30%).
