The intent is to hire one contractor to furnish and deliver annual requirements of Class A Concrete on an as needed basis F.O.B. to any destination within the City of Suffolk limits in accordance with all specifications, terms, and conditions. The contract will cover all materials as needed by the City’s Public Works Department (primary user), Public Utilities Department, Parks and Recreation Department, or as requested by any other City department. A separate account must be set up for each department. The contractor must be a ready mix producer who operates a batch plant and must be capable of delivering concrete in mobile mixing trucks.
