Includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove and replace an existing bridge on East Hillsboro Road with a 22.5-foot long 16-4 x 5-11 aluminum box culvert with end walls and wing walls. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Township Engineer. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price, made payable to Amwell Township. Awarded bidder shall provide 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond and 100% Maintenance Bond for the project. Attention of Bidders is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the prevailing wage and salary rate provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the project. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Amwell Township reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or any portion thereof. Bids may be held by Amwell Township for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
