The City of Los Angeles has approved plans for a major mixed-use, transit-oriented development known as Centro Westlake near the Westlake/MacArthur Park Metro station. The project, led by Walter J. Company in partnership with L.A. Metro, will include 668 apartments across two high-rise towers, with 234 units designated as affordable housing. The development also features a 300-room hotel, 105,000 square feet of general office space, 10,000 square feet of medical offices, 56,700 square feet of retail, and parking for 968 vehicles, representing a significant urban infill investment in the Westlake area.
