Work includes but is not limited to: removal of existing Well No. 3 pump and motor, preliminary pump testing and TV inspection, raising Well No. 3 pump base to meet current health department elevation requirements, installation of a new multi-stage water lubricated vertical turbine pumping unit, column piping, discharge head and associated appurtenances, installation of a new premium efficiency 100 HP well pump motor at Well No. 3, piping upgrades, installation of well blow off drainage, removal of existing Well No's. 3 & 4 motor starter and associated cabinet, removal of existing electrical cabinets, installation of new variable frequency drive (VFD) and control circuit for Well No's 3 & 4, installation of local radio panel PLCs in both Well house No. 3 & 4, modifications to the existing control panel, installation of a new radio communication system with transmitters and receivers at Well house No. 3 & 4, installation of new local electrical service equipment, feeders and cabinets downline of the existing site transformers, and programming/reprogramming all controls. Bidders are required to maintain a written policy addressing gender-based violence in the workplace and must submit a signed and completed copy of the certification form or a signed statement explaining the reason for inability to certify. Contractors and subcontractors must register with the Bureau of Public Work and Prevailing Wage Enforcement and provide proof of registration with their bid.
