This project consists of the demolition of five existing structures: an 18,690 SF warehouse, a 2,400 SF garage, a 2,200 SF shed, a crane and crane tower, and a metal framed wheelhouse on an existing boat dock. Work includes retirement of existing utilities; removal, handling, and disposal of regulated building materials including asbestos, lead-containing paint (LCP), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), mercury-containing light tubes, and chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs); construction stormwater and erosion control; contaminated soil removal, handling, and disposal; and vegetation and tree protection. Bidders must have project-specific experience requirements as detailed in Section 00 11 53 of the Project Manual. No bid will be accepted from any bidder who does not attend at least one mandatory pre-bid site inspection. Bidders must understand the requirements of SMC 14.16 and RCW 49.46 and demonstrate compliance prior to award.
