Professional services are needed for management, project support, and other functions as necessary to accomplish various tasks in implementing the Port Infrastructure Development Program. The department is seeking proposals from consultants interested in providing professional port development engineering consulting services for state-wide on-call projects. The IDOT Bureau of Planning will coordinate with the selected firm using task orders established under a negotiated scope of services. The scope of services will be established on a blanket agreement. Possible activities include, but are not limited to, the following elements: Port Planning Services: Port Master Plan Studies, Feasibility Studies, Economic Impact Analysis Studies, Land Use Studies, Navigation Studies, Dredging Studies, Grant Application Development Assistance, etc. Port Environmental Services: Environmental Survey Request (ESR), and Addendum Environmental Survey Request (AESR), Environmental Assessment (EA) Reports, Preliminary Environmental Site Assessment, Preliminary Site Investigation, cultural resources investigation, Natural Resource Investigations, Permitting, etc. Develop IDOT Port Program Guidance Document and Scoring Matrix.
