Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Jefferson City, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The scope of work includes the construction of approximately 1,468 lineal feet of 6-inch diameter PVC water main, 334 lineal feet of 4-inch diameter PVC water main, associated fire hydrants, valves, fittings, hardware, and other incidental items and work described or reasonably inferable from the project materials. Instructions to bidders require a bid security of five percent of the bid amount to accompany each bid. The successful bidder must submit a sworn affidavit and documentation affirming enrollment and participation in the federal work authorization program, and that all employees are not illegal immigrants. Upon signing the contract, the contractor and any subcontractor must provide a ten-hour OSHA construction safety program for on-site employees. The award will be given to the most responsive, responsible bidder submitting the lowest bid. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the owner. Full opportunity will be given to disadvantaged business enterprises to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
