The RFP invites Proposals to provide Prime Consultant services during construction for the Ontario Place Public Realm project, part of the Ontario Place Revitalization project. The Successful Respondent shall provide a team of specialists to deliver all Services and complete the assignment within the specified timeframe. The scope includes peer reviewing, amending, and issuing revisions to 100% Construction Documents prepared by other consultants when required. The project is delivered under a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) model pursuant to CCDC 5B with IO Supplementary Conditions. The Prime Consultant will administer services and work in accordance with the CMAR Contract and ensure the Construction Managers compliance with all requirements. The Ontario Place Public Realm Project aims to revitalize approximately 32 acres, including permanent and interim public areas, constructing new buildings and structures, restoring and enhancing the waters edge, securing continuous public access throughout the site, and enhancing long-term resilience, environmental performance, public spaces, and waterfront access. Site-wide work includes site rehabilitation and foundational work such as addressing flooding, contamination, shoreline erosion, stormwater management, and AODA compliance; employing integrated structural landscape treatments; landscape works, buildings, structures, and features including naturalization, habitats, wetlands, treescapes, structural landscaping, feature buildings and amenities (e.g., Indigenous Cultural Pavilion, washrooms, pedestrian bridges), refinishing degraded elements, pathways, lighting, playgrounds, fountains, and cultural elements such as the Japanese Temple Bell and Indigenous Placekeeping. Respondents are expected to review all provided documents as part of their due diligence prior to proposal submission.
