Description

Renovation of a detention facility in Honolulu, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.

Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform HVAC repairs and upgrades, including the removal, disposal, and replacement of one 25-ton Trane MCCA021 Air Handler Unit (AHU). Work includes complete removal of the existing unit, installation of the replacement AHU, and restoration of affected areas. All parts and materials shall meet current industry standards. If an alternative product is proposed, detailed technical specifications, costs, installation requirements, and availability must be provided for government review and approval, with final determination of acceptability at the government's discretion. If any individual component is not specifically identified but is required for proper operation, a complete assembly shall be provided. All work and materials shall comply with applicable local, state, and federal codes and standards, including the International Building Code, National Plumbing Code, National Electrical Code, NFPA, Life Safety Code, OSHA, American Correctional Association Standards, and industry best practices. Work will be performed inside the secure perimeter, with the primary work area located on the first floor in the facilities Laundry Room, accessible through a 12-foot-wide roll-up door suitable for material handling equipment. Location: Federal Detention Center Honolulu, 351 Elliot Street, Honolulu, HI.
