Sealed bids are required for the Antioch Middle School Cooling Tower Replacement Project. All bids must be submitted on forms provided by the District to the specified Facilities Office location. The contract duration is 57 calendar days. Bidders must prequalify using District-provided forms, and MEP subcontractors must also be prequalified if they hold designated licenses. There will be a mandatory Pre-Bid Job Walk at the project site. Bidders must be licensed to perform the work and submit a list of subcontractors, as specified. Each bid must include bidder's security of at least 10% of the maximum bid amount and must be accompanied by payment and performance bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Compliance with prevailing wage laws, labor regulations, and California Air Resources Board fleet requirements is mandatory. Bids must strictly conform to Contract Documents, which are the bidder's responsibility to obtain and review in full. The District reserves the right to reject any bids or waive irregularities. No bids may be withdrawn for 90 calendar days after opening. Substitution requests and relevant certifications must be included with bids. No telephone or facsimile services will be provided to bidders at the District premises.
