Site work for a water / sewer project in Hebron, Maryland. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Maintenance dredging of the upper portion of the Wicomico River to restore the federal navigation channel to its authorized depth. The work consists of using a hydraulic dredge and pipeline to remove approximately 250,000 cubic yards of material, including silts, sand, clays, mixed shell, gravel, and other materials, to a depth of 14 feet. Dredged material will be transported via pipeline and placed at an existing upland placement site known as Sharps Point. The scope also includes minor construction activities at the placement site, including construction of two weir boxes prior to the start of dredging operations. All work will be performed as a firm-fixed-price construction effort with an anticipated construction duration of approximately 120 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Location: Upper Wicomico River, Wicomico County, MD; dredged material placement at Sharps Point, Salisbury, MD The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
