Site work for a mixed-use development in Vero Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a golf course and water / sewer project.
This project is for the replacement of a bulkhead at the Sandridge Golf Club. All material and equipment furnished and all work performed shall be in strict accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permitting, and incidentals to replace the existing bulkheads per project plans. o Staging area will be located at the golf course maintenance facility. o The contractor will be responsible for repairing any damage to the golf course, including irrigation heads, concrete paths, and turf, along the approximately 500-yard route between the maintenance facility and the job site. o Machinery traveling between the staging area and the job site must not exceed 10,000 lbs unless prior approval is obtained from the owner. o The golf course will be closed Monday through Friday to allow the contractor to perform the work. Weekend work may be permitted based on course activity and with owner approval. o The existing seawall may remain in place, provided it is a minimum of 10 inches below the final grade. o Upon completion of the project, the contractor will perform backfilling to restore the site to existing grade.
