Renovation of a multi-residential development in Victor, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The project consists of a bathroom renovation at Sunray Crest IRA, located at 6469 Sunray Crest, Victor, NY 14564. Contractors are required to attend a mandatory site visit to verify knowledge of the area before submitting a bid. Bids will not be accepted before the site visit or from vendors who do not attend or arrive late to the site visit. This is a NYS public works project and prevailing wages must be paid. Bidders must provide their NYSDOL registration number and Certificate of Registration at the time of bid submission, or they will be disqualified. To request an invitation for bid, reference the location and project title on company letterhead, including a current email address and/or fax number, and send to the designated contact by fax or email. It is not required to notify ahead of time of intent to attend the site visit. Work is to be started within 120 days of award. Final Date for Receipt of Questions: May 20, 2026 Any questions not asked at the site visit must be submitted in writing to FL.Purchasing@opwdd.ny.gov Summary of Work: Remove and replace the bathroom SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1) Follow the Design provided. 2) Be prepared with the necessary materials. Solid surface materials take time to be acquired as well as many other finishes do. Continuity of work is important. The project will be worked on continuously from demolition to finish. Have your materials in hand. 3) The location of the project dumpster will be approved by the house director 4) Demolish the existing bathroom including removing the ceiling, wallboard, and subfloor taking care to protect safety equipment including the sprinkler system and fire alarm/strobe 5) Install the floor drains and necessary plumbing rough in. 6) An inspection of the job is required at this point. Schedule this with the point of contact. 7) Once the plumbing rough in is approved, install the subfloor according to the design. It should generally pitch to the drains. The maximum differential between the hallway flooring and the finished bathroom floor is _ inch. 8) Another inspection must be scheduled before beginning the Tile flooring. Floor pitch and drain placement will be verified. 9) Install the bathroom according to the design making sure to update the project manager with any pertinent information relating to the job including unforeseen circumstances and changes to the design. 10)Schedule a final inspection
