This Request for Tender is an invitation by the City of Thorold for the repair, replacement, and upgrading of steel beam guide rail systems (SBGR), including end treatments and structure connections, at various locations throughout the City of Thorold. The scope includes replacing approximately 50m of SBGR and 1 SBEAT on Decew Road, replacing approximately 93m of cable barrier with SBGR and 2 SBEATs on Beaverdams Road, replacing approximately 70m of SBGR and 1 structure connection on River Street, and replacing existing fish tails with 3 SBEAT systems on Cataract Road (provisional). All work must comply with current Ontario Provincial Standards and the MTO Roadside Design Manual. Additional locations may be added as Provisional Items or under Service Rate provisions. Bids will only be considered from those registered with Bids and Tenders who have obtained the RFT directly from the City's public purchasing portal. Submissions must be made online.
