The City of Clemson is requesting sealed proposals from qualified firms to provide professional consulting, design, and turnkey construction services for the integration of a high-performance sludge thickening system at the Cochran Road Treatment Plant. The purpose is to select the most qualified consultant or consultant team to assist with the development, permitting, and installation of a "Plug & Play" sludge thickening solution that best fits current wastewater infrastructure. The selected consultant is expected to follow industry-leading guidelines and best practices, while considering the unique local context of the Cochran Road Waste Water Treatment Plant, to develop an effective and efficient sludge thickening solution. Innovative solutions are encouraged, but practicality, constructability, and cost must remain priorities. The selected consultant will closely collaborate with the City to ensure the project's guidelines align with existing City requirements or provide suggestions for updates to streamline processes.
