Site work and paving for a road / highway in Moxee, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work consists of the construction of the Postma Road Resurfacing (TIB Project No. 2-E-943(009)-1, HLA Project No. 25231), including the following approximate quantities: grind and overlay of Postma Road, approximately 1,125 square yards of planing bituminous pavement, 600 tons of hot mix asphalt, and associated work. The contract period is seven working days to complete the work. Each bid must be accompanied by a bond or certified check for at least 5% of the bid amount, to be forfeited if the successful bidder fails or refuses to enter into a contract. Bids must be submitted in writing on the provided forms, sealed, and filed with the Clerk by the specified deadline. Not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set in the contract documents must be paid, and contractors must ensure non-discrimination in employment. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities or irregularities.
