This project, located in Garrett County, is for the construction of both North and South bound lanes of U.S-219. Beginning at the Intersection of U.S.-219 and Glendale Rd (MP: 19.56). and extending in a Northernly direction to the pavement joint North of Lake Shore Dr. (MP: 21.86) for a total distance of 2.30 miles. The work will consist of the following: (a) Partial and Full Depth Asphalt Patching (b) Resurfacing (c) Milling (d) Pavement Markings (e) Traffic Barrier (f) Center Turn Lane (g) Bicycle Lanes (h) Pedestrian Refuge Islands Classification: D - $1,000,001 to $2,500,000 In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00 The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
