Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Birmingham, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists of site improvements at 185 Oxmoor Road including demolition of the existing gravel parking surface and construction of a new asphalt paved parking lot. The scope includes installation of underground stormwater detention with associated piping and structures, grading and drainage improvements, parking lot striping, site lighting, landscaping, and related site work. Primary work items are clearing, removals, grading, drainage, asphalt parking lot, landscaping, lighting, curb & gutter work, and parking lot striping. Bidders must be licensed by the State of Alabama Licensing Board of General Contractors. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and accompanied by a bid bond. The City of Homewood reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding process, and may hold the bids for a period of 60 days after receiving them until notice of award. Attendance at a pre-bid conference at the project site is mandatory for all bidders.
