Renovation of a medical facility in San Antonio, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Scope of Services to be Performed The required services to be provided are installation of a new condenser pump and motor assembly at the Texas Center for Infectious Disease (TCID). a) Arrival & Safety Procedures 1. Arrive on site and check in with the TCID assigned agency contact. 2. Perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) of the electrical power source. b) Pump & Motor Installation 1. Install the new condenser pump between the existing pump diffuser and elbow. 2. Install the new motor onto the pump assembly. 3. Ensure proper alignment, secure mounting, and correct coupling installation. c) Electrical Connections 1. Connect the existing power conductors to the new motor. 2. Inspect all terminations. d) Contractor will perform System Startup & Testing 1. Restore power to the motor. 2. Perform startup procedures on the pump. 3. Verify rotation, amperage, vibration, noise, and overall proper operation. e) Contractor will clean the areas daily and dispose of all trash, debris, and unused materials. HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish contract(s) for Condenser Pump & Motor Installation in BLDG. 537 at the Texas Center for Infectious Disease (TCID).
