The Village of Ilion is requesting bids for a controlled demolition with asbestos in place for seven specific structures located within the Lester Avenue Impact Area. The project is funded with a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). The subject properties have been determined to be abandoned and unsafe. The project must comply with 12 NYCRR Part 56-11.5 regarding controlled demolition with asbestos in place. Bids must be prepared and submitted according to the provided instructions to bidders. Sealed bids are to be submitted to the Village of Ilion Municipal Office. The opportunity encourages participation by WMBE and MBE firms, and Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as implemented by 24 CFR 75, will apply.
