Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Piedmont, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Separate sealed bids are requested for improvements to the Water Treatment Plant to serve the City of Piedmont, MO. The project consists of providing improvements to the water treatment plant facilities and equipment, including removing and replacing all standard electrical elements and components within the building and those serving the clarifloculators. The scope also includes removing and replacing plant control panels for system operation, removal and replacement of various piping and equipment, along with general building upgrades. Bidders are required to comply with the President's Executive Order Number 11246, applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws, the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, the Work Hours Act of 1962, and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Each bidder must submit security with their bid as specified. The City reserves the right to waive any informality or reject any or all bids. No bid may be withdrawn within 30 days after the actual date of bid opening. The City encourages the submission of bids from Women and Minority Business Enterprises.
