Pertle Springs Pond East Embankment Stabilization Project ** BIDS ACCEPTED VIA UCM Ebid SYSTEM ONLY ** Communication made with parties outside of Procurement may result in your solicitation response being disqualified; Vendors are encouraged to attend the prebid meeting at the parking lot at the bottom of the hill going to the Mules National Golf Course, 5 Par Drive, Warrensburg MO. UCM bids are secured by Ionwave until the closing date and time. Bid pricing is available for viewing when the bid is unsealed. To access bid pricing after the bid is unsealed, go to the UCM eBid system (Ionwave), click Closed Bids, the bid number, Bid Tabulation by Supplier. Pending any award, the bid is reviewed and evaluated for responsiveness and responsibility. No award will be made until the evaluation and review is complete by UCM. Work to include: o Site Preparation o Grade and shape the slope to create a stable base and proper pitch away from the roadway o Geotextile Fabric Installation o Furnish and install erosion-control geotextile fabric across the embankment o Ensure proper overlap and anchoring to prevent movement o Riprap Installation o Install approximately 10-inch riprap stone over fabric o Place and compact to achieve full coverage and long-term stability o Ensure proper thickness and distribution to prevent washout o Boulder Placement (Safety Barrier) o o Install strategically placed boulders (2-4 feet in height) along the top of the embankment adjacent to the roadway. o Boulders to be set on a 1-inch gravel base to allow for proper drainage and stability o Ensure spacing and placement provide an effective vehicle deterrent while maintaining access as needed o Align boulders consistently along the embankment edge for a uniform appearance and function o Slope & Retaining Reinforcement o Rebuild and reinforce the embankment slope as needed o Build out 5 foot minimum and stabilize the retaining edge/wall area o Ensure final grading promotes drainage away from the road and toward the pond o Erosion Control & Drainage o Address any contributing drainage issues impacting the embankment o Ensure final installation minimizes future erosion and runoff damage o Final Grading & Cleanup o Smooth and finish surrounding areas o Remove excess materials and restore site Question Deadline 05/15/2026 All inquiries regarding these specifications or other bid documents shall be directed via email request to Vicki Cox - Assistant Procurement Director (vcox@ucmo.edu) All inquiries must be submitted to the Procurement Office at least five (5) calendar days prior to the bid close
