The scope of work involves providing construction inspection services for Authority projects throughout the 2026-2030 construction seasons across the Authority's bridge system, including the Bear Mountain, Newburgh-Beacon, Mid-Hudson, Kingston-Rhinecliff, and Rip Van Winkle Bridges and the Walkway Over the Hudson. The successful proposer will furnish experienced inspection personnel to support contract administration, monitor contractor operations, document work progress, and help ensure conformance with contract documents, applicable standards, and Authority requirements. All work must be performed in accordance with Authority directives and the RFP terms. Firms with experience in bridge and highway construction inspection, transportation infrastructure projects, and contract administration services are invited to submit technical and cost proposals. Proposers are strongly encouraged to include New York State-certified Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOBs) in their proposals. The SDVOB participation goal is 6.00%, and the total MWBE contracting goal is 30.00%.
