Renovation of a water / sewer project in Central City, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project involves renovation and upgrade of the existing lift station at the Green River Correctional Complex in Central City, Kentucky, Muhlenberg County. All work shall be as described by the contract drawings and specifications. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a lump sum price basis. The project must be fully completed by November 15, 2026. Question Deadline 05/12/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Liquidated damages will be assessed per calendar day for delays. The project is funded by the Community Development Block Grant program and Cleaner Water Program grant funds through the Kentucky Infrastructure Authority. Applicable requirements and provisions of these funding programs must be met by the bidder and all subcontractors. Each bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by the required certifications and documentation regarding equal employment opportunity, labor standards and prevailing wage requirements, and Section 3 and Segregated Facilities. All blank spaces for bid prices must be filled in, in both words and figures, and all certifications must be executed when submitted. Attention is called to the conditions of employment and prevailing minimum wages to be paid under contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, and Minority bidders are encouraged to bid.
