City of Omaha is requesting bids from qualified companies for all work and/or goods set forth in the specifications. This project includes removal of the existing TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin Roofing Membrane), replacement of damaged insulation, installation of 1/2 " protection board over the insulation, and installation of a new TPO Roofing Membrane System at Papillion Creek Water Resource Recovery Facility, 15705 Harlan Lewis Road, Bellevue, NE, 68123. The project shall consist of both the administration building roof and the operations building roof in their entirety. Non-registered SEB bidders are invited to submit bids, but non-SEB authorized bids will only be considered in the event that the City fails to receive bids from SEB authorized bidders. SEB reserve requirements set forth in the bid specifications will be applied. The PW Department also requires verification of a "Class A or B" City of Bellevue, Nebraska General Contractor's License at the time of bid. The surety company issuing the bid bond should be licensed by the State of Nebraska and listed on the current edition of Circular 570 of the United States Department of the Treasury. Acceptable substitutes for a bid bond include a certified check, an official bank check, a cashier's check drawn on a national bank or a bank chartered under the laws of the state, payable to City of Omaha, or lawful money of the United States, or a United States Government Bond (negotiable). Letters of credit are not an acceptable substitute for a bid bond and would be cause for rejection of bid. A copy of the bid bond or acceptable substitute shall be uploaded in the Response Attachments section, and the original document must be received by the City Clerk within seven calendar days of the closing date and time.
