The City of Goodyear is seeking qualified Job Order Contractors to provide Job Order Contracting services for General Civil work. Multiple contracts may be awarded, with up to five contractors selected. The contract term is three years, with two one-year extensions possible. Work is performed through individual Job Orders, each with a defined scope, schedule, and negotiated not-to-exceed Guaranteed Maximum Price. Services include civil site improvements (such as parks, playgrounds, landscaping), earthwork, grading, drainage, storm drain systems, underground utility and infrastructure work, electrical service and lighting, concrete paving, right-of-way and roadway improvements, asphalt overlay, pavement rehabilitation, signage, striping, traffic control, wall and fence installation and repair, A.D.A. retrofit work, structures incidental to the project, xeriscape conversion, landscaping restoration, artwork, and other civil infrastructure improvements within the city limits. Each Job Order must not exceed $5,000,000, with a contract annual limit of $15,000,000, subject to budget availability. No minimum amount of work is guaranteed. General contractor responsibilities are outlined in the Job Order Contract Master Agreement, while specific responsibilities will be defined in each Job Order.
