The City of Southlake is soliciting proposals for the construction of the following project: Turf & Parking Improvements at North Park, 200 E Dove Road This project generally consists of constructing approximately 24,180 SY of grass turf and 3,640 LF of chain link fence, along with the associated drainage and sidewalk improvements required for the fields. Add alternates include scope for 6,430 SY of parking pavement, additional sidewalk pavement, LED sports field lighting conversions, irrigation improvements for turf cooling, and a dumpster enclosure expansion. The Contractor will be selected based on offering the best value to the City of the base bid and bid alternates. An addendum will be issued on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, if necessary. Bidders must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond with their proposal as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the project with the Owner within ten (10) days of Notice of Award of the contract. The security must be payable to the City of Southlake in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted. Contractor must execute the contract, bonds and certificates of insurance on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Contractors for this Project must pay no less than the prevailing wage rates for the area established by the Owner and included in the contract documents. Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bonds, bound to the City of Southlake are required, each in an amount of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract and upon payment of all persons supplying labor or furnishing materials. The City of Southlake reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, to reject any or all bids, and/or waive formalities. Bids may not be withdrawn within ninety (90) days from date on which bids are opened.
