Site work for a water / sewer project in Newton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are requested for approximately 2600 linear feet of water main replacement along US HWY 80 in Newton, MS for the Proposed Water Main Replacement Project. All items are to be constructed in accordance with the latest edition of the Mississippi Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction and the MS State Department of Health Minimum Design Criteria 2027 edition. The contract time is 90 working days. Bids must include a certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to the City of Newton. Proposals must be delivered physically or electronically, accompanied by all required documents. Any proposal with qualifying letters will be considered irregular and not accepted. The award will be based on the lowest and best bid, considering bid amount, technical qualifications, and professional reputation. The City of Newton reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Minority business enterprises are encouraged to participate and will not be discriminated against based on race, color, or national origin.
