Georgetown Independent School District is accepting proposal responses for Fuel Storage Tank Installation in accordance with the instructions, terms and conditions, and requirements/specifications. Note the specific requirements represented by 'Attachments' and 'Attributes'. Bidders are legally allowed to submit paper bids, but electronic submissions through eBid are strongly requested. Electronic bidding helps eliminate errors, reduces unnecessary work, and is more environmentally friendly. Assistance is available for submittals. Question Deadline 05/22/2026 at 4:00 PM CT All requests for clarification, interpretations, and/or questions for this solicitation shall be through the this electronic solicitation SCOPE OF WORK. 3.1. Install above ground fuel storage tank and all necessary containments, barriers, and necessary equipment required to operate the equipment, including a Veeder Root fuel level tracking system. 1.1. Install one storage tank with a capacity of 3,000 gallons of unleaded and 9,000 gallons of diesel. 3.2. Two high-flow diesel dispensers installed approximately 40 feet apart to allow for multiple fillings at a time. 3.3. One automotive diesel and unleaded dispenser. 3.4. Contractor will be required to provide a concrete pad. 3.5. Contractor will be required to move an existing chain link fence about 10 feet from the location of where the tank will be installed. 3.6. Key card access system on the dispensers. 3.7. Contractor shall install individual metal covers over the tank and dispensers. 3.8. Contractor shall be required to respond to service calls within 24 hours. 3.9. Contractor shall be required to trench 100 yards of asphalt to gain power supply and controls for the tank and repair the parking lot. 3.10. Obtain required permits and notifications to all governing agencies, coordinate all inspections. 3.11. Establish exclusion zones, supply all barricades and construction fence. 3.12. Coordinate layout of new tank location with ISD representatives. 3.13. Excavate areas as needed for new AST tank pad 12' x 37', or space required per manufacturer specifications. 3.14. Excavate perimeter and cross footers to accommodate tank weight at 90% full. 3.15. Install #6 bar at all footers. 3.16. Install #5 bar on tank pad. 3.17. Place & pour 4,000PSI concrete with a 12" containment dike. 3.18. Place drains in dike wall and a containment sump at low point of tank floor. 3.19. Install 6" pipe bollards for crash protection around perimeter of tank pad. 3.20. Install one 12,000 gallon double wall Fireguard tank (tank split compartment 9k x 3k). 3.21. Install emergency vent and associated tank hardware. 3.22. Install 2" primary vents. 3.23. Install (2) 2 HP FE Petro STPs and line leak detectors. 3.24. Install 2" supply lines to high-speed diesel dispenser (40 GPM). 3.25. Install 2" supply line to standard flow diesel dispenser Install 2" supply line to standard flow unleaded dispenser. 3.26. Install 2" ball valves and solenoid valves per line. 3.27. Install I h" flex hoses and shear valves on standard flow diesel & unleaded lines. 3.28. Install 2" flex hoses and shear valves on high flow diesel lines. 3.29. Install fabricated dispenser platforms as needed. 3.30. Install 3" remote fill with containment boxes for unleaded & diesel tank. 3.31. Install 3" dry break disconnects for fueling. 3.32. Install fill limiters. 3.33. Sawcut 24" wide electrical ditch from transportation building to new tank location excavate electrical ditch. 3.34. Install power and communication cabling from transportation building to new tank location. 3.35. Install new Veeder Root system with audible overfill alarms & mag probes. 3.36. Install E Kill switch as per fire code. 3.37. Install Fleet Controller and supply 150 HID fuel tags. 3.38. Coordinate with Transportation Coordinator on locations to place the Veeder Root ATG console. 3.39. Coordinate with Transportation Coordinator on location to place the Wayne Fleet Controller. 3.40. Start up and calibrate systems. 3.41. Supply 4 hours training with Georgetown ISD. 3.42. Paving for new traffic lanes at AST. 3.43. Repairs to unmarked utilities. 3.44. Any item not specified in the above scope of work
