Lancaster ISD is seeking responses from qualified firms to provide Architectural and Engineering (A/E) services for the design, planning, and development of districtwide facility upgrades at all district campuses. This includes roof replacements, HVAC improvements, restroom renovations, secure entries, fencing upgrades, and the removal of aging portable buildings. Additional work covers instructional technology upgrades for students and staff, renovations to the district’s indoor practice facility (including HVAC addition, expanded locker rooms, weight room upgrades, turf replacement, and security enhancements), and improvements to Beverly D. Humphrey Tiger Stadium and Old Tiger Stadium (including track, turf, and restroom upgrades). Scope of services may include, but is not limited to: site evaluation and analysis; schematic design and programming; design development and construction documents; civil, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) engineering; permitting and code compliance coordination; cost estimating and project phasing; bidding and construction administration support; coordination with the City of Lancaster and other applicable agencies; landscaping design; illustration renderings and 3D design modeling. All designs must comply with applicable local, state, and federal codes, including Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS) and International Building Code (IBC). Firms must be registered with the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners and licensed engineers in the State of Texas. Lancaster ISD reserves the right to add future projects under the same awarded agreement based on the selected firm’s performance and district needs. The District may enter into a non-exclusive contract with the awarded firm. Award of this solicitation does not guarantee a minimum amount of work. This solicitation will be evaluated in accordance with Texas Government Code 2254 (Professional Services Procurement Act). Lancaster ISD reserves the right to select one or more firms deemed most qualified to provide architectural and engineering services for current and future district projects.
