The intent of this solicitation is to secure bids for services for the resurfacing of aquatic spray-ground deck areas. Work shall include surface preparation, minor crack and joint repairs, application of a textured deck coating system, and final sealing. This scope includes resurfacing, expansion joint replacement, crack repair, and minor surface imperfections only. Bidders are strongly encouraged to submit their response to this bid electronically. Question Deadline 06/01/2026 at 12:00 PM CT Clean all deck surfaces by pressure washing, blowing, grinding, or other approved methods to remove dust, dirt, debris, coatings, and loose material. o Contractor shall take appropriate measures to control overspray and protect adjacent noncoated surfaces. Any overspray or coating of non-painted areas shall be removed at no cost to the City of Irving. o Remove and replace all damaged mastic expansion joint material. o Replacement material shall be Deck-O-Seal two-part self-leveling sealant, color-matched as closely as possible to the existing surface. o Repair cracks and minor surface imperfections as necessary to prepare the surface for resurfacing. o Apply Sundek base coat as required for proper bonding. o Apply Sundek Classic Texture uniformly across the deck surface. o Apply Sundek color-matched finish coat over the entire resurfaced area. o Apply Sundek clear sealant coat for protection and durability. o Clean up and haul off all work-related debris. o Any damage to Parks Department assets, fixtures, utilities, or surrounding areas caused by the contractor shall be repaired or replaced at no cost to the City of Irving.
