The project consists of the removal and replacement in kind of two (2) existing Sulzer ABS submersible pumps and the furnishing and installation of the mechanical piping, valves, appurtenance, associated structural support, TopVault system, miscellaneous equipment, electrical instrumentation and control wiring in the existing Coolbaugh Township Wastewater Treatment Plant influent pump station. Each bidder shall complete the onine pricing form and upload the forms/documents in the attached checklist to www.pennbid.net. Paper bids will not be accepted. Question Deadline 06/05/2026 at 2:00 PM ET PROJECT NO 57.50480.2232 Completion- 210 calendar days The purpose of this Contract is to repair and replace in kind the influent pump station. The project includes but is not limited to the following recommended sequence of construction: 1. Mobilization of construction equipment and temporary laydown area. 2. Temporary bypass of influent to MH-A before Screen Building B-3 via plugging of sewer main. Bypassed influent to be sent to Surge Tank T2 for temporary holding until proposed pumps are installed and operational. 3. Hydro excavation of influent pump station site to expose discharge piping. Contractor to vacuum and clean out pump station for ease of access during construction. 4. Removal, transport, temporary storage & off-site disposal of existing pumps, pumping equipment, structural equipment, valves and piping, guide rails, base elbows, internal piping, cover of the wet well, and appurtenances of the influent pump station to an USEPA and PADEP approved site. 5. Excavate and pour concrete pad to support TopVault Above-Grade Wet Well Mounted Submersible Pump Control Station 6. Install new base elbows, piping, guide rails, transducer and back up floats, and all mechanical appurtenances. 7. Install two (2) 4.7 HP ABS Submersible Pumps Model XFP 100C CB1.4 PE35/4 (or approved equal). 8. Install all electrical wiring, components, and connections to existing control panel. 9. Furnish and install all necessary remaining structural components. 10. Furnish and install all necessary remaining non-structural and electrical components. 11. Furnish and install all new equipment related accessories that includes but is not limited to painting (wherever needed), supports, wiring, conduits, grounding, splicing, connection, rigging (by certified operators), testing of the influent pump station to match preconstruction conditions. 12. Remove bypass pumps and unplug MH-A. Pump all influent that was stored in the Surge Tank T-2 through the Screen Building B-3 to resume normal operations. 13. Wash down the Surge Tank T-2. 14. Demobilization of construction equipment and laydown area on site. The estimated cost for this project is $ 170,000- $ 190,000 . *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
