Vendor shall complete Attachment B: HUB Supplemental Vendor Information Union County Public Schools is soliciting sealed bids from qualified vendors to provide fire alarm system replacement for Weddington High School, Porter Ridge High School, and Antioch Elementary School. Bidders are required to submit sealed bids clearly labeled with the bid number by the specified deadline. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at Weddington High School and will proceed to the other two locations for the purpose of reviewing project requirements and answering questions. All communication relating to this bid must be directed to the designated Procurement Lead. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder or contractor to familiarize themselves with all aspects of the project. Failure to do so will not justify a change order. Contractor is accountable to provide a turnkey project(s) to UCPS. b. Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all materials including new equipment, labor, and supervision as necessary to complete the project. c. Contractor shall appoint a designated Project Coordinator to the project. She/he will remain the primary point of contact to UCPS resources for the duration of the project. If a change in contact is necessary, it shall be provided in an effective and timely manner to ensure no disruption to the project. d. Contractor shall have a minimum of five (5) years of successfully completing projects of this type and size. e. Contractor shall safeguard the project area(s) to ensure the safety and security of UCPS property. f. Contractor shall safeguard non-identified surfaces to ensure quality workmanship. g. Contractor shall identify and seek approval from UCPS prior to any award to a subcontracted service. h. Contractor shall review the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) manual, where applicable, prior to his/her employees performing work. Contractor shall appropriately notify and safeguard their employees from exposure to potentially asbestos containing or asbestos containing materials. i. Contractor shall ensure his/her employees follow established UCBOE policy such as but not limited to the Jessica Lunsford Act, Tobacco Free Policy, etc
