The Municipality of Clarington is seeking a qualified company to complete the cleanout and retrofit of the Eiram Stormwater Management Pond in Bowmanville. The scope of work includes the general cleanout of the stormwater management pond, removal of accumulated sediment and overgrown vegetation to restore design elevations/grades and function, retrofitting the quantity control cell to add a forebay with a permanent pool (greater than 1.0m deep) to enhance sediment capture and provide erosion protection, rehabilitation of the storm sewer at the quality control cell inlet including repairs to the damaged headwall, rehabilitation of the extended detention outlet including replacement of the stone jacket, restoration of the gabion mattress downstream of the quality control cell and restoration of the rip rap at the main inlet, restoration of the partially blocked quantity control outlet structure, and improvements to the access road by clearing wood chips and other organic materials.
