Tarleton State University plans a phased buildout of an approximately 80-acre site along the Chisholm Trail in southwest Fort Worth into a full walkable campus town. The master plan envisions new academic buildings, a central student centre with dining and performing arts space, residence halls integrated with parking, recreation fields, landscaped open space, and a combined welcome and alumni centre. Development will occur over multiple phases aligned with city infrastructure improvements, including the renamed Tarleton State Parkway overpass, with long-term growth supporting significant increases in student enrolment.
