Demolition and site work for a civil project in Satsuma, Alabama. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The work involves modification of the existing High School lift station and installation of new lift station components. The scope of work includes lift station demolition, temporary bypassing and piping, and installation of new lift station components, including new pumps, electrical systems, and piping. The project also includes installation of approximately 2,600 linear feet of 8-inch PVC forcemain from the High School Lift Station along Willie Crook Avenue to the manhole at the intersection of Willie Crook Avenue and 3rd Street, and approximately 3,500 linear feet of 6-inch PVC forcemain from the Orchard Street Lift Station to the High School lift station along Orchard Street and Baker Road. The project duration is expected to be 150 days. Envelope(s) containing bids must be sealed and clearly marked. Bids received after the stipulated time will not be accepted. Bids are for a single prime contract, on a lump sum basis, with key subcontractors listed as required. Prospective bidders must obtain bidding documents from the issuing office and attend a mandatory pre-bid conference in order for their bid to be accepted.
