Site work and paving for a road / highway in Everett, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals are invited for the following work: ITEM 1: 664 tons of Superpave Wearing Course, 9.5 mm, in place; ITEM 2: 75 tons of Aggregate Shoulder, in place. The Pennsylvania Wage Act applies if the bid exceeds $100,000. Liquidated damages are set at $975.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the Municipality. For third class cities, bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid amount, payable to the municipality; for other municipal types, this is at the municipality's discretion. A performance bond or certified check for 100% of the contract amount must be provided by the successful bidder within 20 days of award. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
