Question Deadline 05/21/2026 at 5:00 PM ET Questions are submitted online Yes Name: Marian Jamaleddine Email: To: MarianJamaleddine@semtribe.com Cc: BidSubmissions@semtribe.com Phone: O: (954) 966-6300 x11192 C: (954) 237-9621 CONTRACTOR shall remove, discard and replace approximately 4,789 linear feet of fencing, including various gates, with 9-gauge galvanized, powder-coated black chain-link material, with three (3) rows of barbed wire/tension wire strands along the top rail at the Sport Complex/Ballfield. The newly installed fence shall mirror the Rodeo seating area and extended area fence recently completed. 2.1. CHAIN LINK FENCE/GATES REPLACMENT: CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for completing the following: o Dismantle and remove the existing nine (9) gauge chain-link fabric, post, rails, and hardware. o CONTRACTOR shall only tear off any section of the fence they can ensure to replace by the end of the working day. o Dispose of removed fencing in accordance with local regulations. o Inspect existing post foundations to determine suitability for replacement. o Supply and install new (black) powder-coated, galvanized, 9-gauge chain-link fabric (Color: black). o Gate heights will vary: four feet (4'), six feet (6'), etc. o Gate widths will vary: four feet (4'), six feet (6'), etc. o Post varies in feet: steel, galvanized (Color: black). o Top rails, barbed wire/tension wires (Color: black), and fittings to meet standard requirements. o Install gates: Newly installed gatesshall mirror the existing gates and existing direction. Newly installed gates shall swing inward such as the Emergency gate entrance. o Gate specifications are as follows: o Four (4) @ twelve feet (12') o Four (4) @ eight feet (8') o One (1) @ four feet (4') One (1) @ thirty feet (30') o One (1) @ eighteen feet (18') o Two (2) @ ten feet (10') o Concrete footings shall include excavating and pour concrete footings for new posts. o Ensure post are plumb, properly aligned, and set to recommended depth for wind and use loads. o Tensioning and securing shall include chain-link fabric shall be tensioned evenly, secured to posts and top/bottom rails installed properly. o Gate hardware: shall operate smoothly, standard latch over devices can withstand typical wind loads and prevent the gate from unintentionally swinging open thereby eliminating the risk of a passenger or vehicle being stuck or injured. o Emergency Road Entrance: CONTRACTOR shall provide and install: o Black Double manual, swing-inward gates with three (3) strand barbed wire. Gate is six feet (6') in height with twenty feet (20') width clearance for Emergency Vehicle. Install standard latch over mechanisms (black) to withstand wind loads and open unintentionally. o Rodeo Entrance: There will be no additional changes to this entrance as long as twenty feet (20') clearance passing through will allow for Emergency Service Vehicles to enter, turn around and exit safely. 2.2. MATERIAL STANDARD CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITY: o Post spacing maximum ten (10) feet between line post and end post. o Chain-link fabric: Black 9-gauge, galvanized steel, per ASTM F567/ 1043/1083/A36/A123/392 with three (3) strands of barbed wire-tension wire-top rail, required for appropriate fence, gates, post, etc. o Posts and rails: Black galvanized steel, conforming to correct diameter varies in feet. o Post alignment and plumb: within quarter (1/4) inch top alignment level along run o Concrete: Minimum three thousand (3,000) psi for footings minimum depth per wind load, cured twenty-four to forty-eight (24-48) hours. o Cantilever (no ground contact) gate is required due to uneven surface as existing gate will be displayed. o Fabric tension: install along entire fence, no loose areas or bulges o Top Rail, barbed wire and tension wire: install securely, continuous along fence, properly anchored. o Tie Wires/Fasteners: install evenly, securely fastened to post and fabric. o Gates and hardware: install aligned, swing freely, latches operate correctly, and corrosion-resistant, heavy-duty, suitable for sport facility use. o Ground Clearence: install bottom of fabric two to four (2-4) inches, above grade, no gaps for unauthorized entry. All materials shall be rust resistant and designed to not degrade from UV light. 2.3. FENCE/GATES EXCLUSIONS: CONTRACTOR shall refer to areas whereas no gate replacement is required and shall remain as is. CONTRACTOR shall note, the following areas are excluded from this Scope of Work: o Rodeo area seating o Extension fence area bleachers o Cowboy fence area
