This project includes the replacement of the pad-mounted signal cabinet & 18-inch riser including replacement of all cabinet equipment, generator cabinet and all related equipment and appurtenances at the intersection of East College Avenue / Elmwood Street (CT-4). Also included at this intersection is the installation of a Tomar pre-emption detection system and LED confirmation lights (4-Way) 5 detectors and replacement of all pedestrian buttons and signs and replacement of the battery back-up system. All signal cabinets shall have dual fans, (2) four gang receptacles and a new generator cord. The project includes the replacement of the battery back-up system and all related equipment and appurtenances at the intersection of Rt. 150 (Benner Pike/Walmart (CT-18) Bids must be submitted on the forms provided and enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the project name. Each proposal must include a Bid Security of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, an Anti-Collusion Affidavit, a Public Works Employment Verification, and an Affidavit accepting the provisions of the Workmen's Compensation Act. The successful bidder must provide Performance and Payment Bonds each for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, as well as a Certificate of Insurance.
