The State University of New York at Buffalo, hereafter referred to as the University, is soliciting bids for the resurfacing of the 26,250 Square Foot exterior basketball court located at the Ellicott Complex. This project includes all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to complete the work in accordance with the specifications provided herein. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, asphalt surface preparation and overlay, removal and replacement of basketball stanchions and related equipment, application of acrylic sport court surfacing systems, and regulation court striping, as further detailed in the project specifications. All work shall be performed in a professional manner and in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards. The successful Bidder shall be responsible for furnishing and installing all required materials and equipment necessary to complete the project at the Ellicott Complex location designated by the University. The Contractor shall coordinate all work with the University's designated representative to ensure timely completion within the prescribed project timeline. The University reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to the scope of work as project conditions require. Should any additional work be identified that is within the general scope of this project, such work shall be subject to written authorization by the University and mutually agreed-upon pricing prior to commencement. For purposes of this solicitation, SUNY hereby establishes an overall goal of 6% for SDVOB participation. Bidders are required to have at least three years of experience with court resurfacing projects of similar scope.
