Renovation of a water / sewer project in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This Request for Proposals is for Multi-Facility Polymer System Upgrades for Halifax Water. The project involves upgrading polymer systems at several facilities due to aging equipment and required process capability enhancements. Facilities included are Dartmouth WWTF, Eastern Passage WWTF, Halifax WWTF, Herring Cove WWTF, and JD Kline WSP. Requirements for the polymer systems will vary by facility in terms of capacity and type of polymer feedstock. Engineering Services are required to provide detailed design drawings and specifications, assist with equipment selection and pre-purchase through an evaluated RFQ, provide tender support, construction phase services, and prepare a final record information package. The assignment includes supporting Halifax Water to finalize equipment selection/pre-purchase RFQ, shop drawing review, integration of equipment supplier details into the construction package, construction phase services, and preparation of record drawings. Proposals must be submitted online. Some bid documents may require registration for access, but participation and access to unsecured documents are free.
