Site work and new construction of a civil project in Sidney, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Question Deadline 06/02/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The general nature of the project is the furnishing of all labor, equipment and materials necessary for construction of a landfill disposal area with Subtitle D composite liner, an underground leachate storage tank, and miscellaneous associated work, all as specified in the plans and contract. The work under the proposed contract shall commence within thirty days of the written Notice to Proceed. The work shall be completed by December 11, 2026, subject to any changes granted by the Owner. Bids shall be presented on a blank form furnished by the Commission, submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Phase 3 Expansion, Fremont County Sanitary Landfill," and accompanied by a separate envelope containing bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid as defined in Iowa Code 26.8 and specified by the Commission in its bid specifications and contract.
