Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rochester, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and transportation facility.
This project involves the following: Terminal Parking Lot: traffic control plan and measures; erosion control measures; reconstruction of approximately 10,000 square feet of terminal building parking lot pavements; earthwork; installation of drainage structures and piping; installation of wall pack lighting units; installation of pavement markings; and topsoil and seed. Bidders will be required to furnish a bid bond, and the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof, to waive any formality, informality, information and/or errors in the bidding, to accept the bid considered to be in the best interest of the OWNER, or to purchase on the open market if it is considered in the best interest of the OWNER to do so. If the work remains incomplete after the time as specified in the Information for Bidders, the Contractor shall pay the OWNER as liquidated damages the sum of two thousand, five hundred dollars ($2,500.00) per day for each and every calendar day that the work remains incomplete beyond the specified time for the project or the subphases/phases shown on the plans.
